Elektror Karl Meuller

Today's visions are tomorrow's history. Those who take a closer look at their history will recognize how much truth there is in this statement.

Elektror was founded by Karl W. Müller in 1923 under the name "Elektror-Motoren-Handelsgesellschaft" with its headquarters in Esslingen am Neckar. During the Second World War, part of the manufacturing of the rapidly expanding company was moved from the industrial center Stuttgart to Waghäusel in Baden. This location developed into the production center of the company. To handle the need for sand casting, in 1948 an aluminum sand foundry was established for Elektror, followed in 1975 by an aluminium die casting foundry.

After Karl W. Müller died unexpectedly in 1959, his wife, Margarete Müller-Bull assumed management of the company. Under her leadership, Elektror grew to become an international leader in air technology.

As part of the concentration on core competencies of the company - manufacturing, sales and distribution and ongoing innovative development of industrial radial blowers and side channel blowers - the aluminum foundries were sold in 2001 and 2004. However, they have continued their partnership with Elektror as dependable suppliers.
