Keller-Ihne Tesch
Since 1932 we have developed and produced high quality electroheating products. Originating from the foundation of Ihne & Tesch and Keller Ihne + Tesch, the Group has grown to have production facilities in Germany, Austria and France and a sales office in the United Kingdom, making it a truly European Group.
Quality & Commitment
Our customers are involved in expanding markets, where innovation and quality are expected as part of day to day business. Our aim as a quality supplier is to detect new trends and develop application solutions, and offer reliable products.
Our Group of Companies has a clear commitment to optimum quality of its products and services. Our large manufacturing capability and the many years experience of our staff guarantee the high standard of performance of our entire product range.
Diversity & Individuality
We have manufactured the DG and DGS Nozzle Band Heaters for over 30 years. The proven construction came from the necessity to develop a sealed heating element for use in injection moulding that was imperious to plastic. This design has become the standard for a lot of electroheating applications.
The DGK Nozzle Band Heater was a further development of this range. With loads from 8-10 W/cm2 and operating at temperatures up to 450 °C it was way ahead of its time. Today the DGM High-Performance Band Heater fulfils the requirement of ambitious polymer processing. It delivers accurate temperature distribution, has a working life longer than conventional Nozzle Band Heaters, and can be used in applications requiring temperatures up to 600 °C.
Z Mica Insulated Band Heaters are available in many designs, and are available even in complicated shapes. These are economical basic heaters with an operating temperature of approximately 280 °C. The virtually indestructible KHK Ceramic Insulated Band Heater has diameter dimensions from 60 up to 2000 mm, and will operate at temperatures up to and over 400 °C. They are used worldwide and operate 24 hours a day.
The advantages of the Z- and K-Types are incorporated in the M Band Heater, their operating application and appearance are unique.
Two very effective product lines for the extrusion process are the air cooled HIM-System together with the fluid Heat Cool Combinations which is manufactured from either aluminium or brass.
